My name is Stefanie. My partner and I have two acres of paradise in Southwest Colorado that we’ve built from scratch into an off-grid, almost-self-sustaining homestead. We live with our rambunctious cattle dog/pit mix, Loki, 5 ducks, 3 chickens, two beehives, lots of wildlife, and an abundance of fresh mountain air. I’m keeping this blog to document our process of turning a piece of raw land into a home. It definitely hasn’t been easy, but the journey has been incredible.
